WASIMA MASOODI, MD, FACE
Dr. Masoodi graduated from Government Medical College, Kashmir in 1994. She completed her three years Internal Medicine Residency training at Sisters of Charity/SUNY program Buffalo New York. After completing her residency she completed a two-year clinical fellowship training at Cedars-Sinai Medical center, Los Angeles. Dr. Masoodi is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She is an active member of the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinologists, Endocrine Society and is certified by Endocrine society for Thyroid Ultrasonography and Fine needle aspiration biopsy of thyroid. After completing her training she has been working as a clinical endocrinologist in Torrance, CA.
IRRAM RAO, MD
Dr. Rao graduated from Dow Medical College, Pakistan in 1999. She completed 2 years of clinical research at UCSF followed by three years of Internal Medicine Residency training at Huntington Memorial Hospital Pasadena. After her residency, she completed a two-year clinical fellowship training at City of Hope/UCLA Harbor program, Los Angeles. Dr. Rao is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and Internal Medicine. She is an active member of the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinologists, Endocrine Society, and the American Thyroid Association. She has extensive experience in Thyroid Ultrasonography and Fine needle aspiration biopsy of thyroid. She joined Endocrine Care Specialists in 2009 and has since been working as a clinical endocrinologist in Torrance, CA.
ROSANA AYOUB, MD
Rosana Ayoub was born and raised in Southern California. She received her medical degree from Loma Linda University in 2010 and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center in 2013. She pursued a fellowship in Endocrinology at Harbor UCLA-Medical Center and joined Endocrine Care Specialists shortly after graduation in 2015.
SCHWARZ- LAUER, MD
Dr. Lise Schwarz- Lauer was born in Japan and lived in France as a child before moving back to California. She attended Stanford University and subsequently worked in a research laboratory their sequencing DNA from patients with leukemia. After briefly considering a career as a research scientist, she decided she’d rather be directly involved with patient care and applied to medical school. She attended UC Irvine Medical School and trained in Internal Medicine at Harbor UCLA and Olive View UCLA medical centers. She then did her fellowship training in endocrinology and metabolism at Cedars Sinai Medical Center where she again worked in a research laboratory studying autoimmune thyroid disease. She joined the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group working as an internist and endocrinologist and after having her children (triplets) she went back to work part-time at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills and Panorama City in the San Fernando Valley where she has worked for the last 12 years. She is now very happy to be working again in private practice at Endocrine Care Specialists.
